Has anyone ever flown out for Space closing ONLY?

I know people fly out for the closing parties in general, but would anyone advise or otherwise just flying out for the Space closing???

Say fly Saturday afternoon, Bora Bora through the night and straight to Space then Fly back Sunday night/Monday morning??

It should be ok to stay the distance as will be fresh off the plane and wont need luggage, accommodation etc etc. Just a few hundred Euro's and ourselves!

What do you think?

It's something we're thinking of doing if we decide to go.

Won't bother with accomodation or anything like that.

Granted it'll be the most expensive clubbing day/night ever, but who cares? I've only got a couple of holidays left till the end of the year and this seems the only way to get the best from Ibiza over a couple of days.

Hmmmmm....

It's only money at the end of the day.

Only done Space closing once ('93) and it was fantastic!!!! The weather was perfect too 8)

Could never understand why people prefer We Love closing? which to me just seems like any other Sunday??

I could just imagine hopping off the plane with no bags or coaches to worry about - free as a bird and knowing what I was going to experience over the next 48 hrs. :D

I doubt whether the plane journey back would be top of the pops tho. Mind you it never is...

What airline would you suggest Drew?

Bristol/Cardiff ideally.

London would just add that bit more cost and hassle that would probably change my mind.

I've got friends just coming out for WLS Closing from Bristol and they got a really cheap deal. Friends who are going for Space Closing had a real problem getting flights and are having to fly via Barca which isn't a problem on a normal flight but on a return flight post-Space might be a bit 8O 8O 8O changing.

I've been on the 10am Easyjet flight after Space Closing and it's quality stuff.
EVERY single person on the flight had been at Space, all still wearing their wristbands. No one really speaking to each other, then everyone asleep on the flight !!!

LOL, that was like our flight back, except everyone WAS chatting about their weekend. It was like a big chillout room.

Yeah, not too keen on the old Barca changeover :? especially after seeing that programme about robbers in Barcalona last night - wouldn't do much good for the paranoia. (Beautiful place tho it is ;) )

They've only got a couple of hours at Bara airport but it's prob still 2 hours where you'd rather be safely at home in bed

I don't know what airlines fly from Bristol but I know our friends got a really cheap flight for WLS Closing so def worth investigating if there's anything for the following wk ;)
