Has any Spotlighters stayed @ Hotel Coral Beach - Es Cana?

Because of my non UK location (bonny tyler Country) i've had to book through a foreign online tour operator for finding a reasonably priced package holiday for myself on Ibiza from the 3rd-10th September. After quite a few very frustrating hours searching the Internet the only reasonable package deal i could find was for 7 nights full board including flights staying at the Hotel Coral Beach PLaya in Es Cana for 560 euros.

As i've never stayed at this hotel in all the years i've been going to es cana i'm not sure what to expect after now reading this evening some mixed reviews via the holiday net forums of holidaymakers who have stayed at this hotel and in no uncertain terms wish never to return. Therefore can i ask if any Spotlight members have stayed at this hotel and if so what are your thoughts be them be good or bad.

well tip is to look before you rush and book.you;ll be fine.cannot help on hotel.but other peoples veiws are always different to yours.

Hi I have stayed at Coral Playa a few times and found it ok but I only did HB but its changed hands a few times since I was there its now part of azuline hotels they have a few Hotels on Ibiza and I have stayed at some of those and found them to be all clean and tidy with decent room sizes . try trip advisor some reviews on there I dont think you have anything to worry about maybe the AI service as they tend to go slow so not to give to much booze away also plastic glasses are used but thats what you pay for going AI . no proper glass glasses

Hiya - I stayed there in June for 3 nights and thought it was really nice. Plastic glasses in the daytime in case you are going to the pool area, proper glasses in the evening. Food was nice - lots of choice, massive room with free air con, and you are a few minutes away from the bus stop where you can get a bus to the airport for 2 euros rather than paying 35 for a taxi!

Thank's for the reassurance that accomodation wise my weeks stay won't be a total disaster As for plastic glasses well i'll have to use my initiative by borrowing a Pint glass from one of the other bars in town without getting caught drinking from it whilst at the hotel. The buses have always been my preferred option when visiting the Island though i guess the fact that the Vueling flight touches down around 21:20 i'll have a fairly long wait but i'll make up the time lost when i've finally arrived at the resort. Hopefully the hotel will have only one 50+ something lager lout for the week to contend with though i've promised the missus that i'll be on my best behaviour. As if!!!!!

stayed here last year,room was nice and thats the best thing about this hotel
breakfast was mayhem had to clear a table before we could sit down to eat
evening meal never bothered to eat here after first few days it was horrible
the soup was ok and the chips was ok ,the rest was bones and fatty meat
