I've got to go back to the polling station at my previous address, as I haven't been sent a polling card to my new address

Finally managed to get through to the Brum City Council "help line" and they said that just because I've registered with the council tax at my new address it doesn't transfer the new info across to the electoral roll.

So really no wonder some people can get away with rigging & having 9 or so postal votes sent to their addresses-BIG PHAT SHAM Fookin loopholes the size of Mersey Tunnel

well Electoral/Voters roll has nothing to do with council tax and never has. no big surprise that if you don't register to vote then you can't!

Aye Stuie thats right-didn't find out though until my voting card hadn't turned up. You woulda thought the two would have been connected
