Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving Morbyd. I am back in Austin with the rest of my clan for Thanksgiving. Up until now, I have been to 3 pre-Thanksgiving dinners with my sister at her friends' places. One was a Texas style BBQ, the other was a Mexican style and the third one was the traditional style (turkey based). Today my Dad is preparing some "Biryani" (a Pakistani/Indian dish). Unfortunately, they don't dig no turkey. So, in one week I have done a decent global cuisine tour.:lol:

Haha, happy Survivior Series Day my good man.

I have had nothig to do (like all US holidays) as all our clients are out of the office, so I've done very little other than put some serious work into increasing the size of my temporary internet files folder.
 
Hey LB :D Happy Thanksgiving to you as well.

That's what's great about the holiday, isn't it? No turkey required. Just friends, family and a moment of reflection. (not to mention one of the better points about the US: the great American melting pot... I love Biryani, by the way ;))

If I had my way, today would be THE national holiday. :D

Just listened to your summer mix again this weekend, by the way (on my way back to London from Newcastle, as fate might have it :lol:). Still love it... especially the way you fit Edony in there 8)

Happy thanksgiving to everyone ....... I must always think to the Adam`s familiy film, when wednesday must play Pocahontas and her brother must be the turkey :lol:

Hi Mikkak. Just got home a few minutes ago. My turkey was excellent 8) Tender and juicy...

Add that to the stuffing and gravy I made, and the vegetarian stuffing, lettuce & bleu cheese salad, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie and apple pie that our hosts supplied (washed down with substantial beer and wine), and you'll understand why I'm currently going into a food coma :lol:

mmmmmmmm lovely, I will like to have a food coma with this menu!!!! I am on diet so I am so hungryyyyyyyyyy:lol::lol::lol:

Thanksgiving is as bad as Australia day! (which happens to be on my birthday - urgh)
