Hangover Cure

I over did it on a four day bender and ended up at the quacks. He advised that i'd given my liver a hammering and that just drinking water was not enough as i needed to replace the minerals and vitamins lost due to the dehydration.

He pescribed Dioralyte. Rehydration powders intended for diarrhoea.

Available without pescription from any chemist. Take a sachet in a pint of water before bed (ideally with a lasagne, soaks it up) and hey presto... heavily reduced hangover.

If it's a particulaly heavy one and you can see yourself avoiding food for a while chuck in a Complan (food suplement) but avoid mixing it with milk.

It curdles :?

Any other hangover cures out there??

Dioralyte plus Berocca is my Ibiza staple.
 
o yeah.. and avoid fresh orange juice. it dehydrates like alchohol. If vitamin C is needed for any particular reason stick to fruit or tablets

I usually find that I wake up lots during the night when I take 5htp, and dream when im sleeping. When I wake up im still half asleep, don't quite know im awake or what im doing.... :?
 
Have you all tried that anti-hangover medicine? The kind they sell in the US and UK for like $20 a dose? It was apparently developed by the KGB and is all the rage in Hollywood, I read somewhere. It costs next to nothing here and works really well.

I personally don't get hangovers... maybe once in 3-6 months 8O
 
Get some Milk Thistle tincture (available from leading chemists & helath stores).
Dispense into some water & consume before you start night out, then when you get home repeat again.
