Hangover Club

I struggle getting up at 6.18am
I struggle getting up at 9am.... or 9:30 as it's been since I got back from Ibiza

(I'm very lucky my firm's hours are 9:30-6:30, which means as dept. head I can reinterpret that as 11-8 without much trouble )

5:30 would be out of the question!

Oh dear, I had you down as a mans man, Morbyd:o. No wonder you can kick the ass outa every weekend if you can stroll into the office at lunchtime each day:lol::lol::lol::lol:

We have lunch at 1 or 2pm so 11am is hardly lunchtime!

I'm just a night person. I got to bed at 1:30 or 2 on average on nights when I'm not out, thus the late rise.

Moscow in general is a late city... people start later and work later than in the UK. Normal hours are 9-6, so with 9:30-6:30 we're a half-hour later than most. I'm always amazed at how quickly people in London offices clear out at 5:00!

Plus an 11 till 8 or 9 schedule makes more sense for me since I deal a lot with people in the West, and I avoid the traffic on the way home.

I worked in Jersey for a few years and the night life was 7 days per week, can't say I miss those regular weekday hangovers too much tough. At my age, I would probably be crying like a girl in Buckley's shoes by now.

 Although I am older than the majority of posters, and enjoyed the start of the rave scene in the late 80's (as a young 'un) I wasn't quite old enough to appreciate the Beatles live in the 60's, nor was I around for the world cup victory in 1966!

Which sugests that I may well be feeling like you would because our ages are similar I'd guess!
