Tickets for V!

What a bloody nightmare!!

After spending 3 hours on the phone to a million companies I have managed only to get 6 tickets for Sunday only!

Anyone got any other obscure companies that might be worth a try?

Aw sorry to hear that. At least you got some for the Sunday. ;)

That's something.

My flat mate is practically in tears over it...I blame the lack of Glasto - it was always going to be impossible.

My advice would be to get Big Chill or Glade tickets immediately! ;) :p

(Or pay through the nose on ebay)

Not sure if they're obscure though.

sold out at 9.40am Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr......

I have one remote possibility left.

Rob, give this to your flatmate:

Echo Reader Travel: 01268 270027

They have a message on the phone now (after being engaged for 3 hours) saying due to demand for V tickets they aren't taking any more calls until after 4pm. Not saying they are sold out tho! Thats where we've gone previously, they are usually quite good but demand this year is off the scale!

Easy - go to the the nearest tree to the entrance and find the scouser waiting there. For £10-20 he will supply a wristband which is refastened with blu-tac if you're lucky, or chewing gum if you're not. He'll have his own band on and walk through the entrance with you and you return the band to him once you're past the checks.

I'd be more than happy to pay for a ticket but I can't plan that far ahead and won't wait on the phone for hours.

Stuie you should have said you were planning on going, we bought ours on pre-sale about a week ago! :(

Have a look on this site, there's normally info about tickets on there. Check out the discussion boards.

Thanks!

Again, I'm not surprised, Glasto have spent years getting a system in place to cope with demand - there's no way V could ever have matched it - particularly with no festival competition this year.

Too many beer swilling 15 year olds blocking the lines!

Cheers Becki

All the efestivals sellers have been jammed all morning and now sold out.
We usually go to Echo (see above) but no luck there either.

Glade tickets (even the early-bird ones available only to those who bought tickets last year) are not available yet!
