And even if you're renting, your landlord's mortgage repayments will be going up - so guess who will be passed on the increase?
I'm coming to the end of a 2 year fix next August. My mortgage payments are huge anyway without the fixed rate increase.

It's really not that simple with them two. They'll probably demand (especially as it's your virgin viewing) everyone dress up (again) (it's ok, they've got all the necessary costumes), and spend the rest of the night discussing such entralling topics like the latent homophobia of the working classes of the Hoth ice station, or whether you'd actually accelerate to attack speed from the cruising velocity (i.e. surely you'd have a quicker speed doing the travelling from a to b), comparing and contrasting the differences in employment characteristics of the Star Wars vs Star Trek fan base (I.e. what IT department they work in)...
