This happened to me and few mates years for a week of top djs in some hotel in marbella..think it was around £220. Alot back in 93 or 94 ...never got a penny back..

i had dinner with someone last night who lives with someone who works for Groovefest....they arent even sure they are going to get paid. The company literally has a few thousand £ left in the bank. They have been trying to get people who had flown out back and beyond that, they were out of cash! off the record of course

shambles all around. Seems quite a few festivals, especially in their early years, are so reliant on ticket sales to keep their cash flow intact and if it doesnt, its a gamble that doesnt pay off. Remember a festival in brighton going bust and it was a massive struggle for everyone to get their tickets back.
