Does anyone know where Messrs Cato & Findlay will be residing this summer in 2005. Have heard they have a weekly residency. Coming out to Ibiza for mates 30th 3rd-7th June.

I reckon Ben would jump at the chance. Not sure about Cato tho.

They're always really boring at Space and just play the same sets every week they're there :?

They play the same sets wherever they play  Superstylin', Promised Land, Afro Medusa...........

Guess they play a lot of the same tunes but tunes like Superstylin or Promised Land can be played every time, they're good! :D

I'm a big fan personally.

I prefer to see a DJ who is going to play the unpredictable and keep me guessing all night, Promised Land is a fab song but if you're expecting a DJ to play it in a set it takes some of the gloss away from it imo.

I've only heard them dj once (space terrace) and I really liked them! I didn't know they were going to play Promised land, so for me it was a "nice surprise"
But I could see it get a bit predictable if they do it every time.

They're good at what they do (ie party DJs) but seeing them on a regular basis becomes a bit tiresome cos you can guess their set down to virtually every song

Maybe with the residency they can afford to buy some more records

On dancetrippin.tv there is a video of them djing in Holland, and it's a different set (no promised land ;) ). It has a really funky mix of Born slippy and Billie Jean being played on top of each other.

They always play Born Slippy and Billie Jean as well whenever I've heard them in England

^ Oh no!

So it's a good thing that I haven't heard them dj more often.

First time I heard them DJ was at Sankeys a few year backs and they blew me away - all the classics we've just mentioned............then I saw them a few months later @ The End and it was the same set, then again @ Turnmills, then again @ Space etc etc

Hopefully tho they'll be a bit more adventurous if they've got a weekly residency @ Space.
