Groove Armada will release a new mix compilation, the first in a new series, on February 16th, 2004. 'Doin' After Dark Vol. 1' follows the success of 12" projects on Ragbull Records and will be its 10th release. The music will be 'a blend of basement house, MC and percussion' which has packed European clubs in recent years.
Ragbull is the London label founded by ex Nuphonic Jools Butterfield and Tom Findlay & Andy Cato of Groove Armada. With the recent release of their 4th LP Lovebox, a sell out world tour, a number of chart successes and their best selling global clubnight, Lovebox, Groove Armada is one of the most critically acclaimed British dance bands of the moment.
'Doin' After Dark' includes 80's Basstronic/Unknown DJ, Chicken Lips/He Not In, the hard to find Tiefschwartz/No More Trouble, and Blackstrobe's mix of Playgroups/Number One among others.
Next DJ dates: Chibuku in Liverpool on 20th December, and a tour across Australia in Dec/Jan.
