Does anybody know what the rules are in terms of taking food and drinks to the Gran Sol pool/garden?

As long as discreet it will be fine i.e. we've taken crisps/snacks and juice/water and never had a problem. They have a plastic cup pool policy but I've seen folk with bottles etc.

As long as not setting up your picnic table and being totally blasé you will be fine.

(I'm here just now keeping an eye out o_O).

Thanks. Lucky bugger! Don't suppose you know how much a beer at the bar costs do you?

Although there is a supermarket 50m away that sells Matthaus rose for under 3 euros a bottle on special offer.

Now skelping that down on the balcony (whilst obviously keeping an eye on anyone trying to sneak contraband into the pool area).

I got a nice bottle 14% Rioja for 7 euros this year and they encourage you to re-cork, put behind the bar and finish subsequent nights (i was on my own and driving at times so didnt want the whole 750ml)

i fukcin love that hotel

Plus, its only 12 euros for their buffet dinner, which on the whole was very nice. Plenty of choice and open till 10pm for pre club feed.

Did You bring your x-large plate...;)

Why sort of stuff were they serving?

Standard Spanish hotel buffet really dude. Nice salads, starter stuff, breads, soup, mains changed every night but had a choice of about five, cheeses, deserts........

Does this mean that I can enter the breakfast room until 10.30 to get my breakfast? (or better to enter until 10.00 ?) No late breakfast ?
