so now you know where you can buy ibiza rocks tickets in ibiza town.....

the hairdressers staff bayres in figueretas (at the left of croissant playa) has turned into the bar la guarida del coyote

this one never actually opened.... the guy spent all his money to reform it and turn it into a bar but finally didnt get the opening license

it turns into a boutique

before spending a fortune reforming a commercial plot make sure you gonna get the right license to open.....

according to ibiza a-z, this winter the hotel pikes will get a complete facelift (courtesy of bruno from la maison de l'elephant) and next summer plans to host all kind of events in conjunction with well known promoters, including ibiza rocks

as you might remember, last summer the concert of we are scientists was moved to pikes because of problems with bar m's license.....

apparently the beach club in san antonio turns into a linekers bar like the ones in benidorm and other holiday destinations

as you might remember, it was managed by the people behind eden and it had some of their pre-parties.....

it opens on may 30th with brandon block+etc

the chinese restaurant shanghai in figueretas has turned into the lounge-bar/restaurant fusion

apparently slutfunk (privilege) is in talks dc10 to do wednesdays

they plan to have mulletover, secretsundaze, superfreq and tenax on rotation.....

according to DDI, la diosa in santa gertrudis is trying to open again

needless to say, the neighbours are not very happy about it.....

apparently heaven are now trying to relocate to diva in playa den bossa.....

it wont happen ! !​

diva has been sold and not to heaven (as might have happened as they were interested) or gatecrasher (who were interested in the venue before it was bought and turned into diva last year) but to an american millionaire.....

as they failed to find anywhere to relocate.....​

apparently basement in the west end turns into a strip club

as you might remember, we heard the same rumours two years ago and in the end the star club turned into basement instead of a titties bar.....

it will be called lust

it opens tomorrow

the bar kings in the west end (a.k.a. the bull bar) is in ruins at the moment. they have knocked down everything, except the exterior walls, to be rebuilt!!

a little bird told me that, apart from a new bar, they also want to do apartments above. as you can see in this picture taken some hours ago the remaining walls have been demolished too

the bar underneath will be called babylon

half a year since the name's up on the facade and still nothing going on in there ! !

the new babylon is ready to be rented out but they want far too much money for it

it has a ground floor bar (entrance opposite golden gate), an impressive basement club of 260m2 (entrance on the corner of the building) and a top floor bar (entrance opposite colon). the lay out is really bad though..... so much space wasted on corridors to the toilets and on staff toilets that the stock room is the size of a large toilet cubicle. they have also put a pillar right in front of the dj box so that his view is obscured for half of the dancefloor.....

· the top floor will be called bubbles
· the ground floor will remain as babylon
· the basement will be a strip club called taboo

babylon and taboo opened recently

bubbles will remain closed this summer.....

after a not-very-successful winter as sausalito it has turned into negu again

the after hours santa fe in ibiza nueva, which didnt even open this winter, turns into a cocktail bar

its called bombay lounge

it opened recently.....

as you might remember, the attempts by space beach club s.a. to open a new club in ibiza town harbour in the late 90s failed. then they tried to open it in san antonio harbour, again with no success (they ended up renting the venue to the town hall to use as their offices). three years ago they tried it one more time in ibiza town but, once again, it failed so everybody thought that was it..... but today diario de ibiza reports that yesterday space beach club s.a. applied again to get the license to open a club in av. santa eulalia 15 (next to the burger king)

on a curious note, three years ago the tentative name was noche viva.....

according to the latest rumours the local will turn into a supermarket

it will turn into a pizzeria

and it will be called la tagliatella

the soon & moon in san antonio is not opening this summer

apparently something to do with not having license to serve food (which they have been doing during the last five years or so).....
