but another fact:

Meat eaters know fook all about vegetarian food.

So you're missing out too.

AND - this thread has nothing to do with meat tasting nice (you've said that about three times now ;))...we're agreed on that point. I love meat!

its all protein at the end of the day. pan frying a nice fillet of sea bass tonight - prob with some spring onions and some garlic, served with some nice boiled new tats.

Mmm.. that sounds great, chew.

I was thinking about a bit pot of Uzbek plov with beef, heavy on the saffron :D

Mmmmm to sea bass

I boiled a huge piece of ham (while the show was on  ) last night for tonights salad, making a meat feast salad because I can't be bothered doing any fancy cooking

Deliberately antagonistic so will therefore not be rising to it.

Guilt driven or a ploy for attention Morbyd? :? ;)

sorry, read your post again....I usually grill rather than pan fry - I brush the fillets lightly on both sides with some oil and season with salt and pepper. Then make sure the grill is is hot (important), and skin-side up on an oiled baking tray and grill for 4-5 minutes, until cooked through....

My mouth is wattering again...

***EDIT***
Quite handy, my other half just phoned asking what I wanted for dinner this evening.... So I asked about pan frying.... 8-12 minutes depending on size of fish, (and how well it you like it done) again, pan needs to be hot.... (knobs of butter also welcome)

Chewie listed his menu first!

I had a change of heart when I got home though... went for Beef Bourgonione with a side of risotto with long grain & wild rice, broccoli & white wine :D

Qourn can be ok in certain dishes, I tend to use the chicken peices in Thai green curry or mexican dishes.

The mince is good in Spag bol.

I also love tofu esp in Ramen.

i think i had a fillet from one which had been ill for a while... for £1.74 it shrank to a bitesized portion.

anyone know any decent fishmongers in the essex area, selling proper sized fish!
