Good call. Last year when I went with the family we bought bread, ham, tomatoes, cheese, crisps, beer (you get the picture). Made sandwich on beach with a knife and chopping board from the appt. did this a few times and was the best tasting butty with a crescent of crisps San Miguel combination ever!

I like 'Café Benitez' on Isidor Macabich, San An. Opposite the fruit and veg market.
About €8 for the menu del dia....and they have Estrella Galicia.

Ate here on Saturday night. Fckn brilliant. Proper Spanish feel to the place and the waiter was really helpful. Paella was really rustic

Bottle wine
Bread olives etc
3 beers (incl tapas)

40 euros
