Hey Guys,

I’m off to Ibiza for the first time in four weeks. ( yay….). Can anyone recommend some good restaurants.

Thanks

:) :) 8) 8) :) :)

Hey!!

If you do a search on restaurants on this site, (tool bar above) you will find a load of recommendations from people in all areas of the Island....

I am sure you will find some great places to choose from:-

My favourites

Curry Club (San An)
Banyan Palace (Port Des Torrent-ish)
l'olive (Dalt Villa)

Cool thanks,

I’m staying in Port Des Torrent so ill have to give that one a try.

That's where I usually stay its a great little place. You will love it, really friendly, lots to do and quiet enough to relax when you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the bigger towns....

Whereabouts you staying?

Thanks girls. That will come in Handy.

Going over for the first time on the 30th of June for 2 weeks. Cant wait.. yippee…

We’re staying in the Sirens Seaview Country club. Do you know it? Its just me and my boyfriend going over but hoping to meet lots of new clubber friends.

Yep - we stayed at its sister hotel the Sirens Aura Beach Club - just down from it in September. Its rather nice it has to be said, bus stop straight outside the hotel straight into San An - bus runs on the hour and stops everywhere in San An Bay on route to San An itself. Lots of little shops for necessary bits and bobs across the road and a taxi rank. ATM Machine in the lobby of the hotel, great views across the sea to San An and gorgeous sunsets on offer too.

If you walk out of the hotel and go down a little back lane there is a great beach with cafe's and if you walk across the beach you can get the little ferry across to San An if you dont fancy a crowded bus - think the last boat is around 8.30pm.

You can walk to San An Bay - takes around 20 mins, once you get past the hotel we stayed in its just barren land up to the Bay area. The Bay area is lovely, a whole host of restaurants (nice and cheap) souvenier shops, small supermarkets, arcades, amusements etc. AND the best bit is its walkable to Khumaras - my favourite bar/restaurant for watching sunsets and entertainment at sunset from dancers, fire performers, little hippy stalls, chill out DH's etc etc.

Enjoy!!

PS - its not really a hotel for clubbers, but imo that's best, at least you get some sleep when you do finally get round to it, you might find the odd clubbing couple/group of people but we didnt in Sept, mainly european well behaved families with small children....

KM 5 is great for a steak and relaxing drinks.

Jockey Club - Salinas

El Pirata - Ibiza Town (Best Pizza anywhere in the world!)

Hey Jennie, I'm from Lucan too and myself an girlfriend are staying in the Sirenis Seaview but we're going 16th June, just miss you. Stayed there in June last year, nice apartments but a little out of the way. We hired a car and will again this year as all the action in on the other side of the island. San Antonio is only a few mins in a taxi and if you are looking for a really good restaurant, try Il Vaticano just off the sunset strip near Mambos. The Curry Club is a nice Indian also. If you hire a car, KM5 is excellent. Have a super time.

No way your from Lucan too. Are you Old Lucan or the new part?

Yeah I’ve heard the hotel is very nice, clean etc but very quiet. That’s what I’m after tho. I’ve never been to Ibiza before so don’t really know what to expect. We’re hoping to have one mad week and then chill out the second so should be fine for us.

Have a great time.. The hotel must be nice if your going back for a second time.

Jennie :) :) :) :)

Hi Jennie, I'm from Hillcrest so old Lucan, lived there most of my life but just bought a house in Celbridge so moving in August. Hotel is nice and pool area is lovely. Sky sports in your room is a bonus for us lads as well. Have a great time and make sure you go to Il Vaticano, you won't be disappointed.

You too and don't forget, every time you go back to Ibiza it gets better as you get to know the island better. This will be my 8th time and cannot wait. There's nowhere better, I've looked.
