Is Ring2 the sequel to Ringu?

In other words, do i need to see Ringu first?

Yes, Ringu was made first, then Ringu 2 then Ringu 0 which is set before the original Ringu........got all that

The US have remade Ringu and Ringu 2.

There's a great Korean film making its way across the US and Europe now called Oldboy. Good suspense film. If you like Asian cinema, I recommend it.
