good cliff jump around san an?

ho folks, just wondered wheres the best to do a decent cliff jump in or near san an? i've done the little one at cala tarida beach but i want higher, much higher! we might be hiring a car for a few days this year so we could travel if it was easy to find.

that sounds better ^ where abouts is that? i done the search and found some threads but they are all quite a bit away from san an
 
Well, if you have a car then you can get there. But, you will have to do a bit of hiking to get down there. Take the road going to Cala D'hort until you reach a fork in the road. Take the dirt road all the way until you get to a parking area, where you will have to hike up the cliff and back down. It really isn't that bad until you are done swimming and diving and have to walk back up that SOB!!!!
 
Pic of the cliff. My friend sat up there for about 30 mins contemplating whether or not he should jump. He finally did after we told him that we were leaving. hahaha!!!

brian, ever been to Havasu? That pic looks like the point I jumped off in Copper Canyon... might have been a lil higher though, i was mortified :oops:
 
Its a sh*thole lol. Hotter than blue hell, MTV Spring Break, beer bonging, tattoo laden, pastie wearing bunch... the most fun I had was the cliff jump, and sitting in a life vest like a diaper, bobbing up and down all day at Copper Canyon with my can of Budweiser and cowboy hat. Its like a scalding desert version of Cancun

oh don't you know it... especially when I would drift over to a boat that looked like fun, hold up my arms and reach like a baby screaming "ma ma," and sure enough two boys would come over and lift me up onto the deck. Dangling there like a wet drunk rag... was a sight to see I am sure.... :roll: :roll: :lol: :lol: Yes I know the visual is arousing :lol: :lol:
 
Take a little inventory on what to get ole Brian's nads a pumpin...

1. cowboy hat (check)
2. female drinking beer (CHECK!)
3. hot pseudo diaper that keeps you floating in water (DISCO!!!!)
