GOING TO PRAGUE - NEXT WEEKEND - ANY TIPS???

Howdy spotlighters,

going to Prague next weekend with the missus (so all strip joint/brothel suggestions not appropriate :roll: ) and looking for some good tips on where to go and what to see.....plan to go to a club on the saturday night...so far have been recommended Mecca, Roxy and Radost etc

anyone esle got any suggestions for clubbing, or for the weekend in general?

we are going from thursday - monday.

Karlovy Lazne is one of the larger venues in Prague, and I had a great time there - a floor for every kind of music including hip hop, house and trance.. it was a lot cheesier than Roxy (which was great), but if you're up for some non-pretentious fun, it could be just the ticket..
 
keep hold of yr valubles... esp yr wallet when walking back late when theres a few prossies about (as my mate will tell testify)

visit the bridge early in the morn for best spooky effect b4 it gets covered in tourists.

on way home, eat b4 u get to airport, cos the food area there is straight out of a 70's school kitchen!

karlov lazne was by far the busier of the 2 clubs i visited. roxy was dead for some reason, didnt have chance to check out roxy cos we couldnt find it!

Too right! When I was there last year they would come up to you in 3's to confuse you. However, I was with a load of prison officers who knew what to expect. We all shouted to each other to "watch your pockets" and the prossies ran away laughing 'cos they knew they had been rumbled. ;)
