At the risk of getting banned, here's a hypothetical quandry..

You fancy someone but your mate has already been there.. would you?

apparently you have to ask permission from said mate first - its an unwritten bloke rule (according to all my male friends)... :D

Yeah, it depends on the mate though. I have mates who wouldnt mind and i'd do it in a flash but others who i know wouldnt be impressed so i'd have to use best judgement and think "how much do i really like the girl".......or make sure he didnt find out ;)

Yeah of course go there..but it depends on whether your mate has "been and stayed" or just "been for a quick visit".

PL's right (as usual) : you need permission.

If you are worried your mate may be upset, he will, end of.

Even if he doesn't admit it to you.

Well a mate of mine took a girl home from a party last weekend and one of our other mates had been there already..

It didn't happen for that reason - not because there would be problems with the first bloke but just psychologically he couldn't go there once he knew one of our mates had already..been there. Did that make any sense?

I know my boys!!!! We have very many indepth conversations about the "protocol" involved with men/ladies/relationships ..... its great! :D

if she was well fit then f***ing right!

theres a couple of lads that I would no f***ing way on this earth go after..

but they wouldnt get way fit birds!!

then again neither would I

my post has been rendered void

im off for some fried mad cow

Depends on so many things, but if you think your mate has zero feelings for his ex then ask first (a very wise person once said to me 'shy bairns get nowt' ;) ), but otherwise I don't believe in the whole 'one person one soulmate' thing enough to risk upsetting my mates for.
