There's lots of reports flying around about a proposed festival in Ibiza next year, with the Glastonbury Festival name being associated with it.

This seems to be nothing more that a wish by the Ibiza event's promoters for their event to be thought of as similar to Glastonbury.

A spokesman for Glastonbury Festival has confirmed that at this moment, this proposed event is nothing to do with Glastonbury Festival, Michael Eavis, or his team. And it's extremely unlikely that the Festival, Michael, or his team will have any involvement - Michael has been asked to be involved in many events in the past and has declined, as they are not the unique event that is Glastonbury Festival. There is no reason to think that things will be different this time.

ok ok... i'm not bothered if it's got anything to do with Mr Eavis either.

I just like the idea of a festival in the setting of Ibiza... call it Ibizabury for all i care

And if the dance tents shite at least they'll be alternatives

yup

heard an interview on radio 1 about 2 months ago, sommat to do with Manumission, capitalising on the fact that next year is a non Glasto year and that there is an obvious cross-over with a lot of Indie-bands into dance.......will it be the same without the mud though??
