Girls (or boys!) - what are these boots called?

I remember hating having to wear Doc Martens for school. I'm currently in the - if they're not trainers, they're not going on my feet stage.
 
I wanted some green suede ones and my Mum wouldn't let me! :rolleyes:
I've not reached trainers-only stage but am definitely at flat footwear only stage. My heels are displayed on my bookshelf as ornaments.
 
I'm edging into heels but at 6ft I always fear I'll be mistaken for a drag queen.

I love how a forum about Ibiza has turned into a shoe discussion. I'm liking the idea of moccasin boots for the summer though. I never know what to wear in the clubs. Heels aren't the best and sandals freak me out cause the floor seems so rank.

No way, my friend is 5'11 barefoot and always wears heels, she says she loves towering over everyone! And guys seem to love it (she has 36" legs though)
Shoes are important. I wore wedges once last time and my feet hurt so bad. I did the barefoot walk of shame back to the hotel. At least with moccasins, if you get proper suede ones your feet shouldn't get too hot.

The search has ended! Minnetonka back zipper bootie! I'm gonna be as cool as a cucumber. And comfy. After the one attempt in wedges it was clear nobody seems to wear heels except in the VIP bits. There was a girl at the Together closing that popped her pointy stilettoes on the floor then went boogying. Braver than me!
 
Thank goodness that's been resolved, now we can get down to the serious business of make up, playsuits (or whatever) + dry shampoo etc.....just like the old days :idea:
