I love being a girlie - clothes are so much cheaper (and better  ) than boys clothes

Not always true... and in any case, we need a lot less clothes!

Which bit - the cheaper or the better bit

I just know for Tom there's nothing comparable for boys on the High Street like there is for girls so he always ends up in Harvey Nicks/Selfridges - the equivalent for boys to your Top Shops, Miss Selfrides etc are rubbish in England.

yes i agree there is a nice mens clothes shop in islington, cant remember name tho.

james still wears what i canll "teenagers" clothes (skateboarder that he is) so spends most of his time in covent garden  or that awful shop called moist in ealing

i am trying to wean him off baggy a*se jeans into something more befitting his age (30) with no success.....

You can't find decent mens clothing (cheaply) infact even if you have money..
I love the skater look on men though. I guess Boxfresh and carhartt are the mens version of Topshop

Generally true in the UK, though you can occasionally find something decent at Gap, Zara or Massimo Dutti for not too much.

It's better iin the States for men's clothes. You have mid-priced department stores (Macy's, Nordstrom, Dillards) with some decently fashionable clothes. (and you can get underwear and t-shirts at Target for next to nothing )

What is it about Havianas rubbing - I never had any trouble with mine then I wore them all day Sat and they rubbed the feck out of my feet!

i love the skater look, but i think james is getting a bit old for it !! he struggles with shopping. i have taken him to selfridges for his birthday with a pretty open budget and said buy anything and still he cant find something he likes.
plus all his clothes live on the floor, so the baggy look works well for him!!

what is it with men and coathangers - they dont agree do they?!!!

Tom's not really a Gap or Zara boy tho

He doesn't dress like this then?
