Girlies - Need Help

Im the same like if I am not buying or spending then I will quite happily wander aimlessly round the shops with whoever IS buying but if I am on a mission to find something defo on my own all the way!

Me too, if I don't need anything then I'm quite happy to be unselfish and shop with people but if I NEED something then it's all about me me me

I did it on Sat, my friend was after some glam going out outfit whereas I was not really in the mood or after anything in particular so I just followed her round like a sheep making lots of "ooh look at these" noises

I definitely cant shop with friend, blokes etc. like you girlies say:spank: ....however, I love shopping with my mum.....she just says everything looks great when I try it on....or likes everything she sees in the shops.....so it would just be rude not to buy it now wouldnt it?

Mum's are great for shopping with, they know to say all the right things

Does anyone still lie to their mum about how much you paid for something? I got into that habit when I was young and at home and got grief for shopping too much ..

Now, even when I see my mum and she asks if something is new. I always tell her I got it at 50% off or I found it in a sale... or I tell her its at least 25% cheaper than it actually was!

I love my mum.. when my job contract finished 2 weeks ago, she bought me two pairs of 'sympathy shoes'!!

  I always do this....
Whenever I have bought everything it was in the sale or "only this price"......when I first read the Shopaholic books I was relieved that I wasnt the only one doing this  ....and now there is you too!

I love the comments my mum comes back with though...."Its your money....if you can justify spending that on shoes/bags/clothes then its up to you!"

I have done the classic of that tonight - bought some shoes today in the sale in Faith at Topshop (Oxford Circus) - yes girls I got there! - they were £30 but I told her £20 just to be nice

Well I was in London early having an interview - please can I get called back for a 2nd interview - anyways so I came out about 1030 jumped on the tube to Oxford Circus came out opposite the legendary Topshop.

Saw the nicest sunglasses was really tempted to buy them, they were called Spitfire - is that a make? They were really nice anyway may buy them next time.

Anyway my work type shoes have well and truly been worn so I thought if I can pick up a cheap pair of black pointys I will do and I can wear them for the rest of the day so picked up a black suedey pair with a buckle on from Faith £30 bargain there was loads to choose from in the sale, I was spolit for choice. I then took a stroll to H&M as the weather was so glorious I thought if I can find a top to wear with my trousers (as I was boiling in my suit) I will so in H&M tried on a lovely patterned dress that had £10 off on special offer and a nice black and grey swirly type bum length top so I opted for the top £9.99 bargain.

I then gave up on the shopping as was meeting my mate for lunch back in the City - I would have loved to stay longer but funds are low until Friday :?

Such a lovely day, after meeting her I headed to a park next to Tower Hill tube station, Trinity Gardens I believe, and I then laid there all afternoon sunning myself as best as I could reading various mags - lovely day!!!!! :p

Sounds like a fab day :D What is your interview for?? Will you be working in London then??

And more to the point did you find any daisy hair accessories for me :spank:  ;)

Ahh I looked in H&M at all the accessories and it was all very dull and not much going on - well there was stuff but nothing flowery I have to say

Its for an Insolvency company round Old Bailey/St Pauls way I REALLY REALLY want it but not heard back yet

I was quite disappointed with the H&M I went in as it goes, not much going on at all! Not as good as the good old Lakeside one!

But then I did spot another one up the road :)

I know I thought I was having deja vu or something, it was opposite a Macdonalds, next to an Office and there was a Shellys kind of opposite.

I meant to go in Shellys as it goes.
