Girlie Thread - Dry Shampoo

A foam that you put in your hair before styling it. I never knew you could still get it. I thought everyone used blow drying spritzers now.

Listen to me going on I don't use any now so really have no idea what you buy 8O

Hair Foam?

I've been using for ages, my hair looks like scrubber if I don't use it

...and it's spelled mousse (just for the record!)

I remember in the 80s when mousse got really popular. There were some brands that had little colored sparkly things in them... all the rage!

Rachel, do you really have curly hair? I would never have thought it.

It's a horrid kind of halfway curly, wavy, frizzy sort of barnet if I leave it to its own devices. And that's how it normally ends up after a few hours in a club.

Do you find it hard to find places that still stock it?

Seriously? I thought everyone still used it. I have fine hair so it is used to add volume for me.....is this an "old fashion" item now?

I don't know, but spray some on Robs mixer anyway. I though it was lacking punch when I was round the other day. He'll thanks you for it, trust me!

I stand corrected!

We used to use one that looked almost purple and it would make our blonde hair go ash blonde - we thought it was really cool

I feel for you...... you have the same unruly hair as myself...

Even if I straighten mine, 5 hrs dancing in a sweaty humid club and its curly again.... not worth the bother straightening really....

I never bother straightening, I'm not really good on it and I hate straighteners. I think it's easier and healthier to add mousse and live it dry naturally.
