well folks, the time has arrived, last day in't office today before finally tying the knot on Friday (yes Becky she is a lucky bitch). Wont be back for 3 weeks as have honeymoon after that. Got my speech written, got a few "mother in law jokes" lined up. more or less all ready,but strangely yet not nervous? is this normal? :?

as for the nerves, i wasn't really at all beforehand cos we'd been living together for years, had a kid, etc, etc so i knew she wasn't gonna jilt me on the day or whatever.

however, even after all that, about 4 or 5 hours before the actual ceremony i did get quite nervous, not scared nerves, just kind of like "jesus, OMG, i'm getting married, this is like one of the most important days in your whole life", those type of nerves.

anyway, its all good - makes it more special. ;) :D

It's not the end of the road as many people told me when i got hitched two years ago. It's just a little cul de sac.

Marriage is great.

I'm planning to do it at least two more times.

Perfectly normal. The nervouness begins the morning after the wedding when you wake up and think "dear god, what have I done!" :lol:

Just kidding, of course. Good luck with the nuptials.

My mate started his best man speech a couple of weeks ago by saying out really loud....

FORNICATION...

and then...'oh sorry, I mean For an occasion... like this'. It was good as it shut everyone up and got him a laugh straight away..:lol:
