Im looking for some information on the gay scene in ibiza town. Basically its location, good bars and what the club(s) are like and what the best night to go are. Also info on any other gay nights on the island.

Any info would be great.

Cheers.

The Only 100% gay club is Anfora, is up on Dalt Villa. Usually their busiest night was Thursday but I don't know what's happening now with Federation @ Heaven.

Heaven Ibiza is a brand new Ibiza club, well the ex Penelope. Apparently I have heard is doing fairly well and Federation on thursday should be quite busy, check it out.

The main clubs host gay/mixed parties: Space in Playa d'en Bossa has 4. Home Of La Troya, Fake, Matinee and Gorgeous. Check www.space-ibiza.es for details.
Also El Divino has a gay night now, Just Scandal (former Pacha/Penelope/Babylon event). There every sunday.

Bear in mind there a gay people at DC10 very often, Sundays @ Space and Manumission @ Privilege... So really Ibiza is quite sexually free, you may as well go into any event and feel OK.

I am good... how's you? Still on Defected's board?

I'm very well thanks. Off to Ibiza next Monday to celebrate our first anniversary. Can't wait! You heading out this year? Nah don't bother with the Defected Forum. All got a bit juvenile for my mature tastes

I went for Space and DC10 opening... it was great. Danny Tenaglia at Space was a bit dissapointing but I feel in love with Dubfire, he played a wicked set. At DC10 I have heard the most twisted playlist ever... Have you heard Ricardo Villalobos new one?? Mad!!!

should the occasion ever arise that i needed to get in touch with my masculine side and listen to a few hazel dean tracks i would head off down to ibiza town's calle de la virgen which has shops, bars, showbars and restaurants all with a lovely pink tinge.

likewise c/ramon muntaner in figueretes

Yeah. He fails to disappoint. I've got a great mix from him. I'll upload it and post the link up for you.

What sort of stuff did Tenaglia play then?

minimalelectrotribal... zzzz boring proto progressive stuff... Does it exist as a genre?
Shame he is (or was) my favourite DJ.

Sharam was ok but bit bland, Dubfire rocked (they are a shadow of a duo now me thinks) and also really enjoyed Steve Lawler.

Luciano and Cirillo rocked DC10 for me.

LOL Stephen as if anyone in here would remember Hazel Dean (I do cause I inherited all my uncle's vinyl singles........ woo hoo!!!)... a f***** great idea actually, someone should do some electro remixes, javi munoz would be perfect for this. Anyway what I wanted to say is maybe you should better write "Kylie tracks" or "Dannii tracks" so that the kiddies understand you, too.
