This week Globe trotting superstar Will.I.Am from the biggest band in the world rocks up to Gatecrasher Birmingham for an exclusive intimate house / Electro DJ Set on Saturday 8th May.
Will.I.Am has gained superstardom with one of the biggest bands in the world but is also an artist in his own right. Beginning to rap at the tender age of 16 years old under the name of Will -1X and being signed to Former N.W.A's Eazy-E's Ruthless Records with his first release being "Merry Muths****in Xmas". Since then, Will.I.Am has also enjoyed success with his own singles and collaborated with artists such as Akon, Flo Rider, David Guetta, Rihanna and most recently recording 4 singles on Girls Aloud's Cheryl Cole for her debut solo album including "Heartbreaker", "Heaven", "3 Words" and "Boy Like You"
Aside from being a very successful artist and producer, Will.I.Am is no stranger to the decks often performing his mix of house and electro at the end of tour dates and has played at high profiles clubs all over the world. This isn't just a case of another artist taking to the decks and selling out shows based purely on his name, he is very technically talented DJ and we can't wait to have him working his magic in the main room of Gatecrasher Birmingham.
