astonishingly gala night is also the venue for the island's pensioners do! my mother in law swears that it's the best 6 euros she ever spent (and i suspect the only 6 euros she ever spent) as they all get a 6 course meal with all the wine and cava they can drink and dancing to a live orchestra 'til the early hours.
