FUUUUUUUUUUUUMING and Advice please....

Absolutely raging over here in the world of x.

My planned flights Sat to Wed have ROCKETED (easyjet style) to costing now £250 odd, which, IMO is a lot for a four day hol, remembering this is WITHOUT acommodation, (so we're looking at iro 4 ton for the lot).

I have a work (clients) function on the Thur and Fri, and I have been asked to DJ (don't laugh) in Brighton on the Friday night.

Now my options are this:

Fcuk it all off, and consider myself a grand richer. (<Probably not going to happen)

Get the expensive Sat to Wed flights and wing accomo out there (my original plan)

or, options three and four, previously unthoughtof

*Get Wednesday to Wednesday flights, which are only a shockingly low £120 odd (though expect to rise to, say, £160). Though this now means winging 7 days of accomodation, which (remembering I'm going alone and meeting people out there) will be pretty damn expensive and 3 extra days of Ibiza,

or

There are wed to wed Holidays for £99 per person, based on 2 going (which means £200 just for me) which include (shitty, no doubt) acommodation in San flippin' An, which I would spend zero time in (and have never stayed in), and will just be a bolthole (will be over in pdb/eivissa town probably every day).

and funk off the work stuff on thurs and fri?

but,if you do go wed-wed it will still prob work out about the same money spent than if you get the expensive flights at the weekend.

DO NOT STAY IN SAN ANTONI
as you will have to spend another 100E on taxis or spend loads of time on the bus. (you will, however, be closer to The Secret Garden ;))

any help?

Yeah, wil be sodding work off on Thur and Fri. Which (I think) is doable, yet I will be calling in favours from my boss.

It also gives me stupidly little time to pack/cut hair/sort shit out etc.

Kindo of agree with you on the San An idea.

Hey don't worry about San An as I've stayed there before and at this time of year it's not too bad. Travelling by bus (every half hour 24/7) to Ibiza town is dirt cheap 1.50 euros. A lot cheaper than accomodation in Ibiza town or PDB (much as I'd prefer to stay there). I've found single room accomodation for £80 for 7 days, after all, it's only a base, don't expect to spend much time there.

Have you looked at other ways of getting there.. I mean via Barcelona, Madrid or Valencia etc. It might take longer but its usually cheaper than flying direct.

Flights to the island from mailand are dirty expensive, but take a look at Iberia and Spanair and Air Europa, but my friend booked a flight for next weekend and she pays 150€
Another option would be ferry from Valencia (fast ferry)

They go up very quickly. Proportionally, it's cheaper to fly to New York than to Ibiza, it's only 20 minutes

Iberia have got flights flying out Sat morning and flying back Wed morning for £140 but you do have to stop off in Barcelona for a while! But me Russ, the Scoobies and Mark sun are Flying back Wed too

That was the fastest flight I'd ever taken when I did Barca-Ibiza in June. You're barely off the ground and it's landing time :?
(previous trips I'd gone direct or through Madrid)

Yeap! I was updated to first class two years ago on my way to the island... I didn't have time to get some free nuts or drinks   ;)
