just got a message from some Doris i knew at uni, asking if im ok etc...

thing is i aint spoken to her (or rather she aint spoken to me) since we left uni...

she talks of a re-union etc... with the peeps ive done my utmost to avoid...

what do i do spotlight?

anyone used it to re-kindle old friendships?

(and no NITEFLY i didnt shag her).
 
theres a reason why you haven't stayed in touch with those people.

thats what i don't get about friends reunited, if they were good friends you wouldn't of lost contact.

but chewie, if there's a chance of a shag then respond!! :lol:
 
might part with £7.50 for 12 months just to say hello back, and tell her how well im doing... :lol:

didnt fall out with her, just the peeps she mentioned in her email.

if there is a reunion might take a trip down to the kings cross branch of rent-a-wife... :lol:
 
hmmmm I contacted an old boyfriend and friend that I had lost touch with on Friends Reunited, (all really innocent as my husband knew him and had met him loads of times through work and they got on really well) Didnt get any replies off him, however his new wife replied to my mails to say Hi how are you and sorry Paul is out with the dog/motorbike/kid whatever, but I will tell him you said Hi....... I met him out a few months later and mentioned the mails - he looked surprised and said never got them..... I left it at that!!

I got a couple of mails from a guy from school, he said he was in my class but when he sent me a photo I certainly didnt recognise him in the slightest - he had two grandkids sitting on his knee, poor beggars were swamped by his Johnny Vegas style belly .... and I couldnt make out the face - the reflection from the flash bounced off his Jack Duckworth stylee glasses too much! - maybe he was in my Mum's class - we both went to the same school.... :lol: :lol: :lol:

Still, 'twas an interesting experience...... I let my membership lapse after a year... :lol: :lol:

I got an email from a gorgeous ex-girlfriend of mine the other day.
I replied from my work email which has my phone number on and she called the office.

We lost track of time, chatting about the wild nights we used to enjoy together.

I couldn't believe it when she asked if I'd like to meet up and maybe rekindle a little of that magic.

"Wow!", I said, "I don't know if I could keep pace with you now!
I'm a bit older and a bit balder than when you last saw me!"

She giggled and said she was sure I'd meet the challenge!

"Yeah", I said, "just so long as you don't mind a man with a waistband that's a few inches wider these days!"

She laughed and told me to stop being so silly!

She teased me, saying that she thought tubby bald men were cute! "Anyway, I've put on a couple of pounds myself!" she giggled...

...so I told the fat bint to fahrk orrff.

(Had you for a moment then didn't I!! ;) :lol: )

Joine that Friendsreunited my self the other day,i really dont know why as i hate well may be not so much hate but dont't like 99% of the pepole i don't speak to from skool.

i did make it clear to her that i wasnt interested in any kind of group reunion with the other "uni" lot...
