Freq presents…zero dB
Sub Club, Glasgow
Friday 16 February, 11pm to 3am, £10

Having waved goodbye to 2006 in real style courtesy of an incredible 2 hour live set from Alex Under, Freq throws its arms wide open to welcome in 2007 with another fantastic guest in the shape of Ninja Tune's zero dB.

Even if you've only heard their name, you'll probably have enjoyed the fruits of zero dB's labour, whether it be their early 12" releases such as the classics Come Party and Click or one of their many remixes for the likes of Truby Trio, Suba, Peace Orchestra, John Kong & Moonstarr, Grupo Batuque, Hexstatic and even Sun Ra (co-mixed with Gilles Peterson).

zero dB are Chris Vogado and Neil Combstock and have been concocting a provocative, innovative and addictive brew of hard jazz, electro, latin, hip hop and house, laced throughout with their now signature dirty, heavy basslines for the past six years. Their early cuts were nurtured by Chris' eclectic and experimental record label, Fluid Ounce, which released their early 12"s as well as a compilation album of their remixes, Reconstruction. Their critically acclaimed debut artist album, Bongos, Bleeps & Basslines was released in September 2006.

zero dB will be joined by Freq duo Brian and Murray for what promises to be another pant-wettingly good night.
