Is Rafa still with an injury? He had knee problems when losing to fed in Madrid the other week. Rafa has got some good years ahead if able to keep fit. I can't see the players around him getting too much of a look in for a few years. His improvement on grass has been so rapid and dramatic he is a truly remarkable young player.
 
agree about fed from a purist point of view.

but the fact that he considers nadal the only player to ever consistently beat him (lots of times too) says more about how great nadal is than anything else.

for me nadal is the best example of a sportsperson you can get (across any sport, active today). total icon.

The first set was a whirlwind! It may have continued in similar fashion had it not been for the nutter invading the court @ 2-1 seconds set.

Credit to Soderling, he never once let his head drop and will surely figure more prominently in future slams.
