Here we go with another season full of parties…and YES, some of them are still free!!!
Let’s begin with the daily stuff…
Playa d’en Bossa
Bora Bora
The most famous beach bar of the world is back! The opening hours aren’t sure yet, but we all hope there will be beats, happy smiles, dancing under the sun and waving at planes from early on. Resident DJ’s are alex miles, heath holme, will johnston, oliver lang and gordon edge. get your sangria jug and your sunglasses and enjoy the early evening vibe….
Beach Palace
A new and stylish bar / lounge in playa d’en bossa – yay! In front of the apartments tur palace, around the pool, during last winter, a few guys built a cosy lounge with sunbeds, asian décor and of course also a soundsystem…and if you’re hungry, get a huge plate of Italian pasta! Might be the place before bora bora or space…check it out!
Cocos
Been around for a while already and still doing some pre-parties – the biggest one is possibly the one for cream on Thursday.
A special mention here to the new Discothèque Martina, ex disco Garbi – let’s see what happens here this summer!
San Antonio
Sunset Cafés and Pre-Parties
New laws here, new laws there. But in San Antonio, bars and pubs with a capacity of less than 500 people are still allowed to open at 12 noon (must be closed between 6am and noontime though). So, many places can still open for afternoon fun…
In Calo d’es Moro (at the northern end of the Sunset Strip), you’ll find:

Kasbah
Then there’s the busier part of the Sunset Strip (Ses Variades) with…
Rey de Copas – Enjoy Ramon Castells sunset sets!
Mambo - and their daily Pre-Parties for Pacha
Café del Mar the original sunset café…
Savannah – also holding some parties in their back room!
And of course, let’s don’t forget about San An’s main beach (Playa d’es Reguero), where you’ll find

Bars in San Antonio
There are simply too much to name them all in here, but check McRackin’s threads about all the places in and around the West End… (DL)
Secret (and not so secret) stuff, one-off’s, specials…
No way we can list them all, because some are really toooo secret to tell and other one’s are done even before we know it (yes, shocking, this happens even to us!). but don’t worry, we will keep this thread updated and will let you know as much as possible about any special stuff going on…thanks in advance to McRackin for your great work!
Here’s something to begin with…many of these permanent locations have either daily stuff or one-off’s going on!
Blue Marlin in Cala Jondal is always having a good groove. Starting off chilled and sometimes going off bigtime later in the day! Entry’s (mostly) free…but thinking BM itself would be cheap is a mistake!
Speaking of places near the sea, there is also Cap d'es Falco - the nearest possibility to catch the sunset if you're located in the Playa d'en Bossa/Figueretas/Ibiza town area. And they also throw some parties now and then!
Then there is KM5 on the Ibiza – San José road. No entry fee, cool parties sometimes (Fullmoon and themed nights) and good, but rather pricey drinks. And also recommended for a good dinner as it's also a restaurant!
Sa Trinxa at the end of Playa de ses Salines always has a great vibe – really worth giving a try!
Sunset Ashram in Cala Conta is also becoming more and more popular. Having a very relaxed vibe, good (and reasonably priced!) food and great sunsets, they now add good music to all that! Check out their programmation – the music varies between reggae and electronic stuff!
Kumharas in Cala de Bou (well…out in San An Bay) offers you great sunsets aswell, tasty fruit juices and cocktails, good food in their restaurants and varied music!
El Ayoun and L’Elephant in San Rafael are also two places, where you don’t pay to get in and can enjoy some jet-set…but you’ll notice the jet-set feeling on your food and drinks bills…
The agroturismo Atzaró somewhere in the campo on the road to san Juan is not that much of a partying spot, but surely one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever seen. They do have some parties though every now and then…
Guarana in Santa Eulalia is another tip – live music and DJ’s afterwards
In Ibiza town you’ll find hundreds of cool bars with a good groove and either live music (teatro pereyra for example!) or DJ’s spinning their sh*t! Grial, Lo Cura, Noctambula, El Club, you name it….and there's also "El Bar" in the El Hotel (Pacha Hotel) for some drinks and groovy sounds. Find your personal favourite in Mackie’s bar thread (DL) again…
And there’s always Hotel Es Vivé south out of Ibiza Town, where they still do some parties every now and then and their bar is also known for being an easy afterhours spot. (let's see what happens there this year regarding afterhours...)
Oh and you might have heard about an “abandoned zoo” (which never was a zoo!)…yes, it looks like there will be parties there as well this season. The place is correctly called Gala Night , is situated in Benimussa just out of San Antonio and it looks like Saturday will be the day to be there again!

Fan of Manumission? Well…they’re doing something new (DL) this year!

We surely won't always be able to reveal exact locations of ssssssshhhhhhh seeeeecret parties (especially, because some of them are also "strictly invite only"), but still, you know something's going on somewhere and like this, you will find out! So please, everybody feel free to pass on your info about a secret or not-so-secret party, with or without info about the location, give us (Dan_in_Ibiza, McRackin or nostrum) a pm!
