Formentera advice

Does anyone know how far is from Ses Illetes to the very north point (punta des Borronar) the divion to Es Palmador. Is it a walkable distance? Worth the view? Can I go with an ATV?? Is allowed to cross the dunes with an ATV?

It is 2.9km from where the tourist bus terminates, 3.4 from "Checkpoint Charlie" (The toll booth!) and 4.8 from the regular bus stop (L1) near Beso Beach. Yes, it's walkable and there are bars on the way up to the final bar at El Ministre; after that you're on your own! No idea what an ATV is, but beyond the El Ministre I've never seen a bicycle, let alone anything larger!

I've been up to the top for the sunset, walked back in the twilight and reached the road when proper dark.

to answer the question re ATV, you aren't allowed to leave the road with any kind of vehicle. at es ministre the road stops and from there you'll have to walk.

Planning to do a half day cycling in Formentera on Saturday the 26th april

any company's anyone would recommend for hiring a Ebike?

I've been quoted 27 euros for 11-16.00 which seems reasonable, planning on just having a cycle about and couple smokes, anywhere special to check out ?

Has anyone checked out the new chiringuitos along Playa Mighorn yet?

Genuinely disappointed to see Kiosko62 and Lucky bar and Piratabus gone and now replaced. Not my concern the reasons behind it but they felt like the beating heart of the beach scene combined with that authentic belearic vibe. Spent many afternoons and sunsets at Kiosko62 and it was a great vibe with the Bologna crowd down at Lucky.

Guess nothing stays the same after all.

Oi, que pasa?! No new posts here for a long while... did anybody visit Formentera this summer? If so, any tips you want to share with us?

hopefully 22nd or 23rd. Looks like it'll be four of us on bikes. Given that 2 of them are keen cyclists, will probably go a lot further than Es Pujols this time

I'm thinking of hiring a bike for a week (not electric); I've come across this site and less than 60e for a week looks good value - of course there are many more so if anyone can suggest good (not neccesarily cheaper) providers I'd be grateful. Must be based in Es Pujols!

@The Sun God @2H76 A ride up to La Mola be a good test for the legs. Gets pretty steep on the way up there. Cala Saona be a nice ride to do also. if you're on the roads do take care though guys as you probably already know the roads can be a little hazardous.
