got to be honest I lost faith in the england team a while back.........best footballers in the world for there clubs, rubbish for country, I'm glad the premiership is back this weekend.

I suppose the one positive is that there won't be grown men crying through the summer of 2008, we can all enjoy summer without being disappointed, well except for the weather!

Ashamed to be an England supporter today. When we got it back to 2-2 we fcuking sat back like we always do and allowed them back into the game. The third goal came after a period of pressure which any half decent team should have soaked up no problem. We didn't deserve to qualify after that shambolic performance. I guess we'll have to attempt to beat Wales, Scotland etc next summer but I'm not sure we'd even be up to that!

...... and not having to arrange trips and holidays around the bloody games too - bonus!!!!!!
But it means no watching games when you come off the beach in Ibiza, no having an excuse to drink legitimately for a month, no dossing off work when they get a big screen in to let you watch games - it's just rubbish

but we can still watch the games - I will be happy to watch the teams that "deserved" to go through - I like watching football from a neutral standpoint to be honest.... less chance of being bitter
also, I get to "legitimately" support the team with the fittest players rather than getting bollocked off people who say I can only support England I thought Wayne Bridge was absolutely shocking. One of the worst performances in an England shirt ever.
And Sol Campbell looked like exactly what he is - a has been - was done for pace so many times and hasnt developed the positional sense the top "veteren" CBs do as they lose their legs.
And as for Stevie G....pathetic. He's held up as a modern day hero but has been woeful for club this season and country - well has he ever actually played well for England??

Had to go, never thought he was the man for the job!! His team selection was poor, so were his tactics!!
