ha ha what a thread
yes COLTY, i am that sheffield wednesday fan lol........look forward to seeing you soon
and just to make things clear to everyone else
... the bay of san antonio is a great place to stay, clean & friendly with well run pubs all offering a variety of entertainment , live bands, comedians, hyptonists, karaoke bars, ,party bars ,sports bars and also lots of good value restaurants.. all offering great deals to make that british pound go a little further, a lot of the bar managers are british in the bay so we understand the credit crunch and try to pass any good offers we get on to you..
It is has a different atmosphere to the west end, a lot more laid back , some prefer it and some like the madness of the west end it all depends what you are looking for, aways good to try both..... people tend to start their evening off in the bay and work there way into the west end later on xx
ps it takes about 15 min nice walk on the promenade to get from the bay of san antonio to the west end, regular buses, ferrys and taxis are very reasonable if you dont fancy walking xxx but san antonio bay is about 2 kilometeres long so it does depend where your hotel is for example the sea view country club is situated at the far end , i would say about 45 min walk to town from there, but has colty mentioned the bergantin hotel, san remo hotel ,xaloc apartment and nautilus to name a few are only about 15 min walk..
