Flying to Wembley Stadium

Quick question for all the Londoners here, which London airport would it be best to fly into if I was going to Wembley?

but if a flight to heathrow costs £300 more than a flight to gatwick or luton even, it'd be better to go there and save your money so you can buy one beer, a programme and a dirt burger with the money you saved.

I'm not sure...perhaps Luton would be better due to proximity to Marylebone station?

You can get the train from Gatwick into London - only takes 30 mins but then im not sure how far it is from the centre of London to Wembley

Quite a way - it's best to get the metropolitan line from baker st (which is north and quite a way from London Bridge/Victoria which is where the Gatwick trains take you).

Tip - don't get the circle or district line - get the purple one (METROPOLITAN) as it goes fast for most of the journey bypassing loads of stops.

Christ I should work for tfl.

If you go to Heathrow, get the Heathrow Express but don't get off at Paddington (where it terminates), instead get off at Ealing Broadway (stop before), then you can get a bus to Wembley from outside the station (it will say Golders Green is destination on front of bus)

If you're talking about cheaper, you could go to Stansted. The train from there goes to Liverpool St,, where you can get on the Metropolitan line straight to Wembley.

M1 widening Morbs. 50 mile an hour limit and average speed cameras. Not to problematic apart from the rush hour evening traffic.
