Flower Power

Thanks McRackin!

My eyes have now been Dryed.

We have not been to Ibiza for a year or 2 now, Over the years we have done most of the big nights and fancy something different.

After reading about Flower Power, it sounds fantasticly different.

Flower Power opening... how was it? :)

anybody venture to the flower power night on tuesday? how was it?

heading over in september for my first taste of Ibiza clubbing (been once before but that was in April last year so nothing was open really..) and taking in pacha restaurant.. then flower power closing party and madness at Ibiza Rocks.. (g/f's not really into dance type music...) then a week spent chilling out in Cala San Vicente...

so just interested to hear anyones thoughts on the flower power night really! :D

i have a friend who went to the opening and he told me it was great.

i had been to FP twice before and it's honestly one of the best nights at pacha. completely different to everything else (as it's almost completely non-electronic apart of some 70ies disco tunes which they might play), but really worth going.

Music in Pacha on a Flower power night?

Do they play house music too on a Flower power night or is it all sorts of music?

I am happy eather way :D

It was fantastic

Music is exclusively 50's 60's with a tiny bit of 70's.

It much more down the Beach Boys/Beatles/Kinks/Rock & Roll rather than disco however they did play a few disco tunes I think Love is in The Air was played, Knock on Wood etc

No house music of any kind whatsoever though

Very entertaining mix of people from young to old many were dressed for the occasion. And a real mix of nationalities, some families (mums dads and older kids)

Good night and very recommended. Was very busy.

Thanks,
We have been to 100s if not 1000s of house nights.

Over the past few years my musical tastes have widened after listening to Zane Lowe and Norman Jay and we love the idea of something completely different.

and boy dose this sounds completely different!

:p

We are eating 1st at Pacha's resterant8)

Do we dress up down or sideways:?:

I know it is Ibiza so nearly anything goes but any advice:?:

I went to a club once that I thought was meant to be very up-market so I had a smart shirt and trousers on. Everyone ells had jeans and t shirts on and i stood out like a sore thumb

we,ve emailed Pacha restaurant to see if we can get a meal about 11,30, because if your having a 3 course meal, it might take a while to be served, so possibly looking at going in club abt 1.30 ish
the best thing about having a meal there,is if you eat and spend a certain amount of money then entry to the club is free, but apperently for 60 euros EACH, you can have 3 courses, a beer an a bottle of wine,
so for a few eoros more you get a lovely meal, a few drinks, which means you shouldnt need to drink as much in Pacha, (as its VERY expensive, )and entry to the club is then FREE

I presume Pacha will shut really late/ early morning

Have you just bought that Pete.it looks the business, nut it will also be nice and cool in the heat of the club
my hubby has got a original 60s shirt we bought when we went on a claasic car rally, but the trousers dont fit now, so just need to get him some lovely flared cords, or jeans

Ive just received an email from Pacha restaurant who informed me, that the arrival for thefirst sitting that night will be 9.30pm, and the second sitting arrival should be around 12,30am,
One is really wayy too early surely, and wont the second one be really late, for eating and then getting into the club,
They also said entry to the club is free if you pay 70 euros per head, but surely if we spend about 60 euros a head they wont be too bothered, as entry into the club is 48 euros,
whats the lowest amount someone has managed to spend in the restaurant, and still got into the Club, the reason Im asking is because normally I eat a kiddie sized meal and Im full, so just wondering how much my hubby has to eat, to balance the bill out, dont fancy trying to drink a bottle of wine each,
