Hi i checked the Florenco hostal out, im not staying there but it looks like a really nice -place, i read some reviews on it and everybody really enjoyed there stay there :)
 
its pretty good

we got a/c for and extra 6e a night

good price, pretty good location easy walk to the beach and what not

near the west end bars

easy walk to mambo / del mar

id stay there again

they dont let you party too loud though

they've got a decent lounge with music and pool, pool table etc
 
Florencio Hostal

Hi, Me and my 2 mates are staying at the Florencio from 5th-12th August. Not been before but all the reviews seem ok. Will probably see you there.
 
I'm only staying there for three nights. August 12, 13, 14.

I was hoping NOT to stay in San Antonio, but I couldn't get a room in any other part of the island that let you stay less than 5-7 nights.

I arrive in the wee hours.. so am a bit bla about getting to that area so late and wonder how loud it is going to be.

It seems they have just renovated it, so it *looks* quite nice.

Then I'm off to bon sol in pdb as I'm meeting others for the remaining part of my holiday.

Burton, how close to the west end is it?

I will have a car... is it easy to find parking around there?
 
i dont think you would want to be any closer to the west end, its just a couple blocks (and a downhill walk) to the west end pubs not sure about big parking spots but a few people park along the street

they put in laminate flooring and painted. It's a good deal for the money. AC is a must. There was never anyone in the pool or games area so that is kind of a waste

overall i would stay there again

ha ha! Actually i don't want to be near the West end... that is why i'm asking!
