has anyone booked their flights from the states yet?? i was about to book last night on iberia for july 20-29, the flight was $1,100 per, after i entered my card number, then i received a message that the price went up to $1,450 per ticket.....i am going to wait it out a while

thats sucks

Hey that really sucks because I havent booked mine yet and just like 2 weeks ago I was pricing it out and I found on delta for the whole summer , from jfk to madrid it was $970.75 and then from madrid to ibiza on span air it was $121.21 which came out to be $1091.96. I was just looking right now and I can't find anything that cheap, unless u book air and hotel on like expedia or travelocity, but then you are limited to hotels. So now i'm pissed:twisted: Well keep me posted if you find anything for less and i'll do the same.

I hope Riddel's advice works later on this year:

Orbitz seems to have the cheapest fares out of all the travel websites. I signed up for their email service that notifies you if the fare drops - I asked them to notify me if the fare for my dates in August drops below $950 and it did drop; as soon as I tried to book it jumped up to $1200!! The price is very cheap if you take the air/hotel option, but I'm not interested in any of the hotels. I had a great time at the Fiesta Hotel PDB last year, but the price for my room has gone up for 2006! Can't beat the location and half board, though.

The flights are cheaper if you go in sept.
You could fly british airways in sept for cheap from jfk to london and then take like easy jet or something and not spend that much. But summers way more $

Fly to BCN or Madrid first and then to Ibiza

don't look for a ticket to Ibiza straight since it will cost you more. I went 2 years ago and my ticket to BCN was around 700 in May and 100 to Ibiza. I bought them seperately with a 5 day layover in BCN. :)

flights from USA

Can you get a cheap flight to the UK and then go onward by one of our budget airlines? i'm sure there is a chance of saving some money doing it that way. try Easyjet, bmibaby, jet2 and ryaniar. transfers in the UK can be cheaper by coach and you might be able to get some sleep during the switch.

just found a flight for 1,000 thru madrid with only a 2 hr layover on iberia.....i think it is worth the extra loot to fly on the same airline, have your lugaggage transferred to the next flight and have a short connection
