Hello all ;)

Just a quick question on flights...

basically my mate is out in Ibiza and I'm goin out in 2 weeks.
No flight booked yet... 8O

I know easyjet go from stansted... NEway.. just wonderin if anyone had done the old trick of just turnin up at the airport and trying to blag it onto a lane cheap like as the cheaper I can get out there the sooner I can go

Also whos goin out there soon and where ya stayin?!

Cheers boys and gals 8)

its simple really.

if the plane is full you won't get on, if there are seats you may get on.

I wouldn't fought it would be that cheap.

the cheapest option is probably booking the tickets now.

I don't know about Bournemouth, but from Glasgow and Manchester flights didn't really come down much at the last minute when I went last year. I couple of my mates were going to go if they could get a bargain flight and they just remained about the same price, even the day before the flight.

The companies seem to be putting fewer flights on which means they fill up very quickly therefore meaning that they don't have empty seats they need to flog.

I hope you manage to sort something out though.

If you go to Gatwick you will have the best chance. Lots of flights go to Ibiza from Gatwick + they have Thomas cook/lunn poly agencies on site.

There are last minute deals for holidays and flights if you book a day or so before, but if you turn up and they've got places left and the flight goes in 4 hours then the prices drop dramatically. I went to ibiza for 2 weeks in 3* self catering for £79 a few years back, just turned up and waited around a few hours and got lucky. Don't spend your waiting time in the bar though as they might not let you on if your drunk + you'll spend the saving!

Wow! Where were you staying? Even in San An, that's pretty good.

Just a shame for us poor folk up north who can't just pop down to Gatwick.
