As previously reported the Chemical Brothers are to release a singles and rarities collection entitled ‘The Singles 1993-03’ in September. It can now be revealed that the album is to feature a collaboration with American guitar slingers The Flaming Lips, called ‘The Golden Path’. The Chemicals Tom Rowlands has described the tracks as ‘psychedelic, up tempo and emotion widescreen’. Tom also told Rolling Stone that the track represented the ‘next level of Chemical Brothers music’. ‘The Singles 1993-03’ will also include another new track, featuring Canadian rapper K-Os.
The double CD package has taken singles from ‘Exit Planet Dust’, ‘Dig Your Own Hole’, ‘Surrender’ and ‘Come With Us’ as well as various EP's. The second CD will include rare tracks and remixes chosen by fans via www.thechemicalbrothers.com whilst the DVD will feature rare footage and videos. Tom and Ed are currently working on ideas for an album which will be released in 2004.
