Fischerspooner have announced their residency @ Mannumission w/c 04/07/05 - am soooooooooooooooooooo excited!!!!!!!!!!
 
Really? I must say I'm surprised by that.

Does this mean the opening party won't be until July then?
 
I must say I'm really disappointed by this (not just because it means Manumission are doing are shorter stint again so I'll miss it).

I loved Emerge and there were a couple of other good tracks on their first album, but they're meant to be terrible live.

I hope they get some other good acts as well.

Last year's residents, The Ju Ju Babes were pretty dull.
 
aren't they supposed to have a new album out pretty soon? #2 I guess, since the first one was called #1...

you might think so but some people love it as much as the first time they went, myself included. and they still get 8,000+ in every week in high season, no other night does.
 
why the sad face chick will u not b there for that? i was well unlucky last yr only went out to ibiza once and the day i was leaving the day privilige opening was - i was so gutted :(

Yep, I'm only there until June 29 and usually Manumission opens the Monday before this.

Oh well, just means I'll have to return in September!

(I never thought I'd care so much about missing the Manumission opening :lol: )
 
fair point stuie but my last visit to manu in 2002 was shocking due to the amount of Westenders there!! I just don't belive its a night for the real househeads out there! :roll:

If you go to the side rooms, in particular the Music Box you don't see any 'Westenders' there.

I'm a techno and electro fan and I had an absolute ball last year.
