First trip to Ibiza in July, ideas for house music?

After some advice, four of us are going to Ibiza for the first time in July (16th-26th). Were into house mostly, nothing too dark or heavy (i'de dance to anything given the correct amount of alcohol but most of my mates are more tarty ).

Any ideas for nights to go to?

Were thinking we have to go to Manumission even though it may be sh!te just so we can say weve been, Pacha i guess is another definate. Any other decent house nights or clubs that we should be looking at doing?

I will be in Ibiza for the last week of June/1st July...I am ore into House, and need some advice on the smalller bar-clubs. I plan on checking out a few of the big club nights (days?!) - Erick Morillo at Pacha and Circo Loco/DC10, possibly Space as well- any info on smaller venues ? I am staying in San Antonio, plan on checking out the sunsets from Cafe Del Mar, would welcome info on some smaller, more intimate places that have good music/DJs and dancing, with a slightly older crowd.

Firstly, you should be checking out the fabulous Ibiza-Spotlight party calendar:

For house music, you'll do well with any of the nights at Pacha, particularly Release Yourself w/ Roger Sanchez on Mondays and Yosh1toshi w/ Deep Dish on alternate Thursdays. Defected, Subliminal, Renaissance, Pure Pacha and Def Mix will also be up your ally.

Obviously, you'll want some variation so you could head over to El Divino for one of their nights, which tend to feature very commercial house.

The missus and I quite enjoy spending time on the terrace room in Amnesia during La Troya, their nominally gay night on Wednesdays.

We Love at Space on Sundays is a must. Also, when you want an earlier night or just to party all afternoon, check out beachfront bar/club Bora Bora in Playa d'en Bossa.

I'm not very up on the smaller clubs in San An, but I will note that you'll find people of all ages at these big club nights.

Dont! You will only be able to say you have been to a manumission that 'used to be good apparently, but seemed more like the worlds biggest sweatbox'

Mambo sounds like your type of place, older people go there. It has all the pre-parties for Pacha not much dancing though but still cool if you can afford it.

I worked there last season - how very true, it is truly awful! (not to mention the fact its foundations sit on a very old fashioned sewer system which makes the whole club STINK )

My first time in Privelege in Sept '01 (for Manumission) there was torrential rain outside and about 2/3 of the main dance floor flooded so most people were dancing in a half-centimeter of water (we stayed near the back and watched as the water made its way towards us ). There was literally a waterfall in the toilets towards the back of the main room!
