First trip coming up - 01/09 to 08/09

Hi guys, looking for a few tips for my first trip to Ibiza. We're (me and the missus) going on 1st September for 1 week. We're staying in San Antonio Bay, but looking for a few insider tips from those who have been many times.

Ticketed Events -

We're looking at going to the following:

Cream 02/09 - Eric Prydz, Deadmau5, Laidback Luke.
Priviledge 04/09 - Faithless (Live)

And possibly: Ibiza Rocks 07/09 - Pendulum Live + Afterparty (Example, Doorly)

Best to buy tickets in advance, or from some sort of vendor over there. I know you sell tickets on this site, and that's where I'd probably buy from, but if anyone can offer any impartial advice.


Other Parties -

Beach parties? Free Parties? Warm Ups? Can anyone recommend any on during the above dates? I had a look in the forum, but it's just a list of bars for threads, and I don't know where any are, nor have I heard of most of them, so again any tips much welcome.

Dunno if that's too vague or not. All advice welcomed.
 
For the ticketed events you mentioned If it was me I'd probs get them through this site. Those events will be more or less price fixed so you might be able to save at most around 5euro's on the island but then its an extra thing you have to do and Ibiza Rocks will probably sell out
 
Thanks, I was gonna get them in advance in all honesty, just to avoid the risk, even if there is slightly more to pay.

Any ideas for the other stuff though? As I said, looking through the other posts they're all the name sof bars, which I've never heard of.

Apparently our hotel (Hotel Riviera) is near somewhere called 'BN3' which is supposedly good?
 
if your staying in san an, i'd suggest hitting the sunset strip (mambo's, kanya's etc) most of the bars will have some sort of pre party on for the club nights where you get to see some big name dj's play for free.well the price of a drink in the bar :p
if you get the chance i'd defo recommend heading over to playa den bossa for a stint at bora bora beach tho.

Will look into Bora Bora on an 'off' day, and since we're off to Cream one night, will definitely check out BN3 that night, and maybe more if it's any good.
 
It seems PDB beach is the place for semi beach parties with Bora Bora , Delano , Sands and Ushuaia tho they seem to open and close intermitently
 
So PDB is the place to go for Beach Parties? Seen some pics of those on here and they look pretty ace, would love to go to one. Are they free? Bring your own drink? Sorry to be so naive!
 
Most are free but you are supposed to be on a guestlist for most of them.email address's can be found on this website or on facebook groups/event pages. Most of them are set back from the beach hence semi beach parties. You can bring booze and be outside them but im not sure how close you can sit before they have a word

yeah, worth keeping an eye on Mambo's website for pre-parties: http://www.cafemamboibiza.com/index.php/mambo/action/calendar/ you'd get to see Roger Sanchez for free tonight...
