I was reaflly looking forward to the fmif opening night but realise they are sold out online, will i be able to buy tickets when i get there or even pay at the door or it is a lost cause?

Perhaps do another night at Pacha? FMIF is like a sardine can!

You should be able to find some tickets on the island. Check out the pre-party bars (PdB, Ibiza Harbor, San An) when you arrive.

Of course. Better, even, as FMIF gets too crowded and the music is (in my humble, but correct, opinion) a certain flavor of Camembert.

Cadenza on Sundays is my top choice. Fridays could be good depending on whom Pete Tong's guests are. Swedish House Mafia (Mondays) or Defected (Saturdays) will be up your alley if you prefer your house a little more commercial.

Why don't you buy some bottles of San Miguel from your local supermarket and try it before you go?

San Miguel and Estrella are both great lagers and reasonably priced.

You can get Hierbas in the local Spar while you're over there and it's certainly worth a try
