Off to Ibiza on the 17th Aug for a week, which is my first visit to the white isle, eventhough I'm the wrong side of 30 (I know, what's kept me :oops:). I can't wait to get there.

Planning to go to WLS on the 19th and probably Pacha on the 23rd, Renaisance has Sander Kleinenburg playing (First ever club night ever was a Renaisance night, must be over 10 years ago now, but what a night).

Do you think going to these 2 nights will give me the full experience or would you suggest something different? Or another night in between

Those are two very good choices... and if I were going to do 2 parties that week those two would definitely be at the top of the list.... but why stop there!!??

You could add Cocoon at Amnesia on Monday and maybe Monza on Thursday at Privilege and then you'd have yourself a good taste of 4 of the major clubs.

Also, DC10 (which rumors say might be in its last year) has CircoLoco on Monday daytime so you could try that in the afternoon to get yourself ready for Cocoon.

5 parties over 7 days... shouldn't tire you out too much old man ;)

Also, make sure you rent yourself a car and spend your afternoons sipping a beer under an umbrella at some of the various beaches around the island. Check out people's various trip reviews for ideas on places to grab some good food come dinner time.

And most of all, have a good trip!

Clubbing Sunday and Monday may be a bit much for one so old :)

Monza is the same night as Renaisance, decisions, decisions

Thought about Armada at Amnesia on Tuesday, then I will have done 3 venues.

Will have a look at the site for reviews of other beaches, may as well see some of the island.
 
Ah oops... mixing up my days. Perhaps Meganite instead of Monza as a potential Privilege outing.

Armada is trance music. I'm not a fan but if you like it then do give it a try. There have been some good reviews.

I'm a half decade north of 30, by the way, so no excuses from you!
 
I'm not a massive trance fan either, used to be, was a regular at crasher back in the day. Will look into Meganite, what sort of music is it?

Your right 32 is nothing, plus I have a full week off work when I get back to recover.

Meganite is mainly techno. I visited Privilege for the first time in years on this past trip and was pleasantly surprised. They've got a great sound system in there and aside from the main room, the garden is a really nice chill-out zone.

Anyway, biggest club in the world so you should see it.

Another alternative is Manumission at Privilege on Friday... it's one of those nights that everyone would recommend you see once in your life (and only once :lol:). It's a big show... quite a production, really... lots of visual entertainment alongside the music.

In any case, if you get Pacha, Space, Amnesia and Privilege in for one week you will have done well.

I almost forgot - don't forget to check out Bora Bora in Playa den Bossa (You might already know about this, not sure...). It's free, it's outdoors on the beach, and it's usually hopping from the end of the beach-sunning day until midnight. A great alternative for a little boogy on nights you're not going out, or a start to an evening, or even as a break during your long Sunday Space session.
