First Time to Ibiza

Me, my wife and a few friends are going to Ibiza for the first time in July (8th-15th). Just wanted to see if anyone one had any info they'd like to pass on to some Ibiza virgins. We range in age from 28 - 32. We are staying in a 5 bedroom villa in Talamanca. Obviously I have not seen it in person yet, but in the pictures it looks great and it looks like it has some spectacular views. It seems like a pretty good location (not to far from the action), but I'm not sure.

Flights, rental car and Villa are already paid for and I'm planning to spend $2500 USD (~2000 EURO or ~300 Euro per day) between my wife and I on everything else. Is this addequate?

I live in South Florida so I am use to Miami club life and some serious clubbing (Winter Music Conference), but I here nothing prepares you for Ibiza. I plan to buy some club tickets in advance for some parties I am pretty sure I'd like to attend, is this a good idea?

Also, do the any of the clubs offer VIP/bottle service? If so, what are the usual going rates (bottle prices, number of bottles, etc.)?

Thanks.

Yes Talamanca is a perfect setting for you!

300 Euro a day seems fine. Although a big clubbing night you may need to spend more.

I tend to get tickets the night before. You get get them from Ibiza town. There are always people around selling them..

Yes they do VIP service in most clubs. I am not sure of prices, although I am sure someone on here will help you...

Lastly have an excellent time, which I am sure you will 8) :)

Id recommend getting tickets for Space from this website, its just a lot easier to get in etc (they pretty much flag you right through any queues once they see your big sheet of paper).

300 euros seems like a fine amount, just depends what you want to do. Some days you will spend hardly anything, cause you won't be out clubbing, so this will allow you to blow a bit more in the clubs. Drinks are pricey inside clubs, so if drinks your bag, then might be an idea to fill up your tanks before going.

Most tickets you will get cheaper in Ibiza if you shop about (where big nights are in competition with each other you often get the lesser popular nights offering discount tickets).

There was a thread about booking tables in Pacha for a meal - seems like a good idea cause you get in the club after, which works out a decent way of having a classy meal in Pacha and doing some clubbing there.

There is a tonne of information on this website and forum.

this thread is useful for some info about VIP

Talamanca is my fav area to stay in ibiza. A decent beach, 5 mins in a car to ibiza town, depends exactly where you stay but it is possible to walk to ibiza town also (altho the best way is on the beach rather than by the main road leading into talamanca, which is treacharous for pedestrians). its the perfect spot cos the action is easily accessible but talamanca itself is a fairly tranquil spot. Pacha is as near talamanca as ibiza town (more or less)

Enjoy:D

My only qualm with Talamanca are the mosquitoes. So make sure you bring lots of candels, repellents, etc..

I was bitten to death last year.
