I think its really off.

The two statements next to each other give the impression that the death is somehow less sad, or in some way deserved as he 'made his own choice'?

I 'chose' to cross the road several times this lunch time.

Apologies if i misinteprete your intentions tho.
 
Mixing alcohol with other drugs is seriously dangerous. This is because drink serves to slow down the nervous system (controlling heart and breathing rate). Combined with other depressant drugs, it could see the body shut down altogether. Barbiturates should never be mixed with alcohol as this is often a deadly combination:!:

was this the actual cause of death or just a random warning?

if you cross the road and stop in front of a car, your gonna die. it's your fault, and i will not be laying flowers.

if you cross the road, remembering what the green cross code man told you, and a get hit by a driver who thought it was a good idea to sink a bottle of JD the previous hour, then id be crying loads and think of it as a tragic accident.

so, lets just get things in perspective eh.

by the looks of you sig, your a promoter? what price the lives of your punters?

re your above parable, what of the 3rd option - the crossing the road & simply due to bad luck something happens? will you cry for me or refuse to lay flowers as i dared step off the kerb?

i just play out. i do dabble. and if i was unfortunate to dabble a bit too much, it'd be my own fault, i know the risks involved, and id certainly know the mess it can leave behind once youre departed leaving a mess behind for people to clean up. each to their own and all that.

id cry lots. cos it was bad luck and something you didnt do for yourself.
